Section 1100-01-01-.04 - ADMINISTRATION OF THE BOARD OF PAROLE

(1) Board Structure.
(a) Composition of the Board shall
be as provided by law. The appointment of members of the Board, the selection
of its Chair, and the quorum requirements shall be those specified by law.
(T.C.A. Title 40, Chapter 28).
(b)
These regulations are promulgated under the authority of T.C.A. §
40-28-101
et seq. and in accordance with the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act.
(T.C.A. Title 4, Chapter 5).
(c)
The Board shall keep or cause to be kept appropriate records of all of its
official actions. Such records shall be made accessible to the public and
interested parties in accordance with law and these rules and
regulations.
(2) Administrative Structure.
(a) The
administrative structure of the Tennessee Board of Parole is as follows:
1. The Executive Director of the Board is the
chief administrative officer of the Board, who shall be appointed by the
Board.
2. There shall be other
divisions of the Board as established by the Executive Director and the Board.
These divisions shall be represented on the organizational chart maintained and
updated by the Executive Director.
