Section 0800-09-01-.01 - REGISTRATION FOR WORK BY TOTALLY UNEMPLOYED WORKERS

(1) The Department shall consider a totally unemployed worker to have registered for work in any week for which the worker has filed a claim for benefits unless the worker refused or failed to report for a placement interview.
(2) The Department shall not consider the worker to have registered for work:
(a) any week in which the worker has been
offered the opportunity to report for a placement interview in accordance with
the rules and policy of the Department and the worker has refused or failed to
report for such interview, and
(b)
each subsequent week after the worker refused or failed to report for a
placement interview until such placement interview has been
completed.
