(1) No new amusement device shall be operated unless it has been designed and manufactured meeting the specifications of ASTM F24 or ACCT standards, as applicable.
(a) Exception: A new amusement device may be
operated with the design standards set forth in other generally accepted
standards, e.g., DIN or TUV Standards provided that the owner or managing
operator can demonstrate comparable compliance ensuring patron safety
comparable to that provided by compliance with ASTM F24 or ACCT standards, as
applicable.
