Section 0780-01-38-.01 - CLASSIFICATION, SALARIES, AND EXPENSES

For compliance with requirements of Section 54-1-413, Tennessee Code Annotated, the Department adopts, as a guide line, the minimum qualifications as adopted by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners for examiners to be assigned to represent the State of Tennessee and Zone 3, National Association of Insurance Commissioners on Convention Examinations. The National Association of Insurance Commissioners' recommendations for classifications of examiners, compensation and per diem expense allowance will be implemented, as required to maintain a professional staff of examiners and remain competitive with other state insurance departments.
