(1) The following discharges do not require NPDES permits:
(a) Any introduction of
pollutants from non-point source agricultural and silvicultural activities,
including stormwater runoff from orchards, cultivated crops, pastures, range
lands, and forest lands; and
(b)
Return flows from irrigated agriculture.
(2) Discharges into a septic tank connected only to a subsurface drain field do not require a state-issued permit under T.C.A. § 69-3-108.
