(1) The following definitions shall apply to these regulations:
(a) The term "Commissioner"
shall mean the Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Environment and
Conservation.
(b) The term
"Assistant Commissioner" shall mean the Director of the Division of State
Parks.
(c) The term "Park Manager"
includes any official in charge of a park area, or his authorized
representative.
(d) The term
"Authorized Person" includes any person authorized to enforce the provisions of
these regulations.
(e) The term
"Park Area" includes all state-owned or controlled lands administered by the
Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation, Division of Parks and
Recreation.
(f) The term "Natural
Area" includes all natural areas which are designated as natural areas by the
Legislature.
(g) The term "Cultural
Area" includes all those park areas which due to their cultural significance
are determined to be on or eligible for listing on the National Register of
Historic Places.
(h) The term
"Recreational Area" includes all State lakeshores, scenic riverways,
recreational areas, and all other park areas administered by the Division of
State Parks primarily for the purpose of public
recreation.
