Section 0080-05-05-.06 - DIRECTIONS FOR USE AND PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS

Directions for use and precautionary statements on the labeling of all commercial feeds and customer formula feeds containing additives (including drugs, special purpose additives, or non-nutritive additives) shall be adequate:

(a) To enable safe and effective use for the intended purposes by users with no special knowledge of the purpose and use of such articles: and,

(b) Shall include, but not be limited to, all information prescribed by all applicable regulations under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.

(c) Adequate directions for use and precautionary statements are required for feeds containing non-protein nitrogen as specified in 0080-5-6-.07.
