Section 74:27:13:03 - Determining the tonnage of solid waste delivered to the facility

A facility receiving 25,000 tons or more of solid waste a year must be equipped with a scale device approved by the department of commerce and regulation. The facility shall weigh the total amount of solid waste disposed of at the facility and shall maintain a record of the weight. Type IIB, III, and IV facilities shall use procedures approved by the department through the permitting process for estimating the amount of solid waste received.
