Each residential program shall develop and implement a written plan for meeting the basic nutritional needs, as well as any special dietetic needs, of each client. The program shall provide at least three meals a day. Any snacks provided by the program must be part of the overall dietary plan. Each meal shall include foods from the basic food groups, according to the Dietary Guidelines for Americans, as released by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
