The cost of transportation shall be based on the number of miles traveled for the average school month and shall be added to the foster parent's monthly request for payment. Mileage is reimbursed at the rate established in § 5:01:02:01 or 5:01:02:01.01, as applicable, for the use of a privately owned automobile.
