An application for a vehicle title submitted in the names of both a vehicle dealership and the dealer is not entitled to any of the exemptions granted to a licensed automobile dealer under SDCL chapter 32-5 B. The dealer must apply for title, pay vehicle excise tax, and license the vehicle to obtain title to it in the dealer's personal name.
