Anyone who holds a commission as an inspector pursuant to RCI-1, 2021 National Board Inspection Code, may obtain authority to inspect historic boilers in South Dakota by providing written evidence of the commission to the State Fire Marshal's Office. Authority to inspect historic boilers in South Dakota expires upon expiration of the inspector's National Board commission.
