Each boiler must be equipped with at least one water glass. Each boiler with more than six square feet of grate area must have one additional water glass or must be equipped with try-cocks. The lowest visible part of the water glass must be at least two inches above the crown sheet. The lowest try-cock must be at least two inches above the crown sheet.
