The owner or user of a boiler required by SDCL 34-29A-14.1 to be inspected shall pay directly to the state of South Dakota through the Office of the Fire Marshal, upon completion of the inspection, fees in accordance with the following schedule:

(1)Initial inspection

$100 and travel

(2)Hydrostatic test

$ 45 and travel

(3)Ultrasonic examination

$ 75 and travel

(4)Visual internal and external inspections

$ 45 and travel

Travel is paid at the applicable state rate for the time period during which the inspection occurs. Travel includes transportation, meals, and lodging.

The fee for any other inspections is a minimum of $90 for one-half day of four hours and $150 for one full day up to eight hours, plus travel.
