A GUIDE TO RIVETED JOINT EFFICIENCIES
The following table of efficiencies shows the average for the different types of joints. The values are only approximate because the efficiency depends on the ultimate strength of the plate and rivet, the thickness of the plates, and the diameter of the rivets.
