Repairs or adjustments made to safety or safety relief valves shall be made by the manufacturer of the valve or an ASME approved testing facility equipped to repair the valves. On boilers requiring only a single safety or relief valve, the discharge setting shall not exceed the established maximum allowable working pressure of the boiler. On installations requiring more than one safety or relief valve, the range of safety or relief valve setting shall be in accordance with section I and IV, of the ASME code.
