The board of directors may meet eligibility requirements for the acquisition and loan of historical properties under the provisions of AR 870-20 (September 28, 1976, as amended on December 15, 1978).

The board of directors may accept items of historical significance by donation, loan, or grant under conditions mutually agreeable to the donor and the board.

The board of directors may loan historical items for specified periods to other museums under agreement to provide adequate protection and exhibit of the items loaned.
