Chapter 50:01:01 - Armory control boards and rental policy
Section 50:01:01:15 - Deposit

A deposit of $100 to cover damages and cleanup shall be given before a lessee occupies the armory. The deposit shall be in the form of a certified check made payable to the state of South Dakota. If the terms of the lease are complied with so far as the state of return of the premises is concerned or if compensation is made for any damages, the certified check shall be returned. If not, the check shall be forwarded to the adjutant general.

Any not for profit or charitable group may request a waiver or reduction of the required deposit upon written application to the adjutant general.
