The petition to increase or decrease the number of county commissioners shall be in the following form:

PETITION FOR CHANGE IN NUMBER OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

WE, THE UNDERSIGNED qualified voters of ______________ County, State of South Dakota, petition that the number of commissioners for this county be (increased to five) (decreased to three) and that the proposal be submitted to the voters of ______________ County for their approval or rejection at the general election to be held on November _____, _______.

The balance of this petition form is prescribed in § 5:02:08:00.03.
