Anyone driving a personal or state-owned motor vehicle out of state shall be allowed meals and lodging up to a maximum of two days each way for travel between the post of duty and the business destination. Allowable motor vehicle mileage as provided in § 5:01:02:01 for out-of-state travel on official state business may not exceed the cost of the most economical commercial air fare available per person traveling.
