Section 46:11:10:07 - Strengthening families program eligibility

An individual must meet the following criteria to be eligible to receive items and services under the strengthening families program:

(1) The individual must be a resident of South Dakota;

(2) The individual must have a developmental disability as defined in SDCL 27B-1-18 or be a child, birth through two years of age, who has been identified by the Department of Education as a child needing prolonged assistance as defined in § 24:05:24.01:15; and

(3) If the individual is under 18 years of age, the individual must be living in a home with a parent or guardian.
