Each resident shall be offered a minimum of three meals a day and have access to food at any time. Whenever possible, each meal should include portions from each of the five basic food groups listed in the MyPlate, "Dietary Guidelines for Americans," 2010, U.S. Department of Agriculture. The owner or operator shall ensure that residents with special diets or dietary restrictions pertaining to residents shall be fully accommodated.
