The season is only open to hunting on the following areas:

(1) All department owned, managed, or leased property otherwise open to hunting;

(2) Department managed or leased property designated as a Walk In Area;

(3) Property otherwise open to the hunting of upland game birds located on U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service waterfowl production areas, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation property, U.S. Forest Service National Grasslands property, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers property adjacent to the Missouri River, and State School and Public Lands; and

(4) Public road rights-of-way as defined in SDCL 41-9-1.3 which are contiguous to and a part of those public lands as identified in subdivisions (1), (2), and (3).
