The following is a description of the units open to deer hunting on the Waubay National Wildlife Refuge:

(1) Unit RFD-WA1 is open for 9 consecutive days beginning seven days before the beginning of East River deer hunting season;

(2) Unit RFD-WA2 is open for 5 consecutive days beginning on the day following the end of the Unit RFD-WA1 season;

(3) Unit RFD-WA3 is open for 9 consecutive days beginning on the day following the end of the Unit RFD-WA2 season.

All Waubay open units are restricted to muzzleloading rifles without telescopic sights as provided in § 41:06:04:14.
