Only residents who were not issued an elk license from the regular elk drawings may apply for antlerless elk contingency licenses. Application must be made through the Department website. Landowner preference or preference points do not apply. Purchase and receipt of an antlerless elk contingency license does not affect eligibility or preference in future lottery drawings for elk seasons. The nine year waiting period for a person does not apply.
