Section 41:03:01:20 - Hiking off trails at Bear Butte without permission prohibited - Exception

No person may hike off designated trails above the elevation of the trailhead parking lot at Bear Butte State Park. A person who has written permission from the secretary or a person who is participating in religious activities is exempt from this section. If conditions exist that make the hiking trails impassable, the park manager may close the trails to public use.
