Section 4:01:09:07 - South Dakota paleontological permit application forms
The commissioner shall make available the following application form for completion by persons exploring or excavating for paleontological resources:
SOUTH DAKOTA FOSSIL PERMIT APPLICATION
This application is for a permit that will entitle the person named on the permit to collect, for a period of one (1) year, fossils on land owned or leased by the State of South Dakota. The permittee shall abide by all of the provisions contained in SDCL chapters 1-19 A, 1-20, and 5-1 and ARSD chapter 4:01:09.
MAIL COMPLETED APPLICATION TO:
Commissioner of School and Public Lands, Capitol Building, Pierre, South Dakota 57501
The following are to be enclosed with the application:
1. Copy of applicant's identification as stated in permit information;
2. Check or money order for the amount required for the permit desired payable to the Commissioner of School and Public Lands. PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH.
