Section 24:55:03:07 - Classification of comprehensive support and improvement schools

The department shall classify a school as a comprehensive support and improvement school if it meets any of the following criteria:

(1) The school is a Title I school whose total school performance index (SPI) score is at or below the bottom five percent of the total SPI scores for all Title I schools in that school level;

(2) The school has a graduation rate below sixty-seven percent, regardless of whether the school accepts Title I funds; or

(3) The school is a Title I school that was designated as an additional targeted support and improvement school under subdivision § 24:55:03:08(2) for four years and did not exit that status after four years.
