The educator preparation provider and, its school partners, and other members of the professional community shall design, implement, and evaluate field experiences and clinical practices for teacher candidates, administrative candidates and education specialist candidates to develop and demonstrate the candidate's knowledge and skills necessary to helping students learn. The educator preparation provider and its school partners shall jointly determine the specific placement of student teachers and interns of other professional roles to provide appropriate learning experiences to the teachers and interns. Clinical faculty shall be selected and prepared for their roles as mentors and supervisors who will provide continuing support for candidates during their field and clinical experiences.
