Section 24:28:23:10 - Endorsements requiring content test, content major, or coursework

For an individual who has completed a K-12 preparation program, each of the endorsements listed in this section requires completion of one of the following: passage of the state-designated content test, major in content, or completion of state-designated coursework. The endorsements are:

(1) K-12 vocal music education;

(2) K-12 instrumental music education;

(3) Elementary reading;

(4) Elementary Latin;

(5) Elementary French;

(6) Elementary German;

(7) Elementary Spanish;

(8) Elementary Chinese;

(9) Elementary gifted education;

(10) Elementary computer science education;

(11) Elementary school library specialist;

(12) Elementary English as a new language;

(13) Secondary advanced composition and grammar;

(14) Secondary advanced literature;

(15) Secondary speech and debate;

(16) Secondary reading;

(17) Secondary Latin;

(18) Secondary French;

(19) Secondary German;

(20) Secondary Spanish;

(21) Secondary Chinese;

(22) Secondary gifted education;

(23) Secondary computer science education;

(24) Secondary school library education; and

(25) Secondary English as a new language.
