Section 24:28:22:10 - Endorsements requiring pedagogy test, and content test, content major, or coursework

For an individual who has completed a CTE preparation program, each of the endorsements listed in this section requires completion of one of the following: passage of the state-designated content test, major in content, or completion of state-designated coursework. The endorsements are:

(1) Elementary Spanish;

(2) Elementary German;

(3) Elementary French;

(4) Elementary Chinese;

(5) Elementary Latin;

(6) Elementary computer science education;

(7) Elementary school library education;

(8) Elementary reading;

(9) Elementary English as a new language;

(10) Elementary gifted education;

(11) Kindergarten through grade twelve vocal music education; and

(12) Kindergarten through grade twelve instrumental music education.

Effective July 1, 2019, passage of the state-designated pedagogy test is also required.
