Chapter 24:28:19 - Endorsements for early childhood preparation
Section 24:28:19:09 - Endorsements requiring pedagogy test, and content test, content major, or coursework

For an individual who has completed an early childhood preparation program, each of the endorsements listed in this section requires completion of one of the following: passage of the state-designated content test, major in content, or completion of state-designated coursework. The endorsements are:
(1) Elementary Spanish;
(2) Elementary German;
(3) Elementary French;
(4) Elementary Chinese;
(5) Elementary Latin;
(6) Elementary computer science education;
(7) Elementary reading;
(8) Elementary school library education;
(9) Elementary English as a new language;
(10) Elementary gifted education;
(11) Kindergarten through grade twelve vocal music education;
(12) Kindergarten through grade twelve instrumental music education;
(13) Secondary advanced composition and grammar;
(14) Secondary advanced literature;
(15) Secondary speech and debate;
(16) Secondary reading;
(17) Secondary Latin;
(18) Secondary French;
(19) Secondary German;
(20) Secondary Spanish;
(21) Secondary Chinese;
(22) Secondary computer science education;
(23) Secondary gifted education;
(24) Secondary school library education; and
(25) Secondary English as a new language.
Effective July 1, 2019, passage of the state-designated pedagogy test is also required.
