Except for the performing artist and one-year career and technical education (CTE) instructor educator permit, an educator permit is renewable for five years. The applicant for a qualifying five-year renewable educator permit shall complete three education-related credits that consist of any combination of transcripted credits, specialized learning experience hours, or continuing education contact hours.
