Section 24:28:17:20 - Renewal requirements for the general education alternative teaching certificate

The general education alternative teaching certificate is valid for one year and may be renewed two times. An applicant for a renewed general education alternative teaching certificate shall submit:

(1) Documented evidence of progress toward the requirements of § 24:28:11:10; and

(2) A recommendation for renewal from the school district or department-accredited school where the applicant is employed based on documented performance and progress.
