An applicant for CTE alternative certification may teach grade seven through twelve CTE endorsement areas while pursuing certification. An applicant may not teach early childhood education, elementary education, early childhood special education, or K-12 special education. An applicant for CTE alternative certification may add secondary and K-12 education endorsement areas if the applicant meets all endorsement requirements and holds a bachelor's degree or higher.
