The Braille education permit is issued to an applicant who:
(1) Passes the state-designated content test; and
(2) Completes six semester hours of coursework including: introduction to teaching students who are blind; methodology of teaching elementary reading; and introduction to classroom modifications and assistive technology for students who are blind.
