Plumbing installation certificates expire two years from the date the person responsible for the installation signs and dates the certificate. A one-year extension will be granted provided the permittee requests the extension prior to the expiration of the permit for one half the amount of the original permit. Any plumbing installation that is not completed within the two-year time frame shall be required to submit a new certificate and pay the applicable fees required by this chapter.
