Each central office shall be provided with alarms on a 24 hour, seven day a week basis to indicate improper functioning of telecommunications equipment. Each alarm shall be transmitted to an alarm center or to a location that will receive and respond to the alarm condition on a 24 hour, seven day a week basis. Each alarm and alarm sensor must be tested and reported internally upon installation of new equipment.
