The commission may waive the requirements of § 2:01:09:03 for individual reserve law enforcement officers upon a finding that good cause exists for a waiver based on documentary evidence presented by a law enforcement agency that the reserve law enforcement officer was unable to meet the duty hours requirement because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
