Licensee must submit a destruction or remediation plan to the department Department for approval within five business days of the receipt of a notice of non-compliance. The disposal method must chemically or mechanically render industrial hemp non-retrievable, non-ingestible, and unfit to enter the stream of commerce. The Department or Department of Public Safety shall verify remediation or destruction and disposal of non-compliant hemp has occurred in accordance with the approved plan. The licensee shall pay to the Department a remediation fee in the amount of one hundred dollars per hour for the verification of remediation.
