Section 12:81:08:13 - Cooling and storing of milk

Milk must be cooled to forty-five degrees Fahrenheit or lower within two hours after milking. The blend temperature after the first milking and subsequent milkings may not exceed 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Each bulk tank, if the farm is using a bulk talk to store the farms milk supply, must be equipped with a thermometer that is in good working condition.
