Section 12:81:08:06 - Protection when straining and transferring milk

If milk is exposed during straining or transferring in the milking areas, it must be protected from falling particles from areas above the milk handling area. All milk must be filtered using an approved single service article before being transferred to the bulk tank or storage containers for cooling.
