Section 12:56:05:04.12 - Additional standards for certification in rodent pest control

In addition to meeting general core standards in § 12:56:05:04, applicators classified within the classification of rodent pest control not in or around structures must demonstrate practical knowledge of the biological and behavioral patterns of target and related nontarget species, including the following:

(1) Toxicity levels which could be expected to give selective control of pest species without causing significant damage to populations of related nontarget species.

(2) Application techniques and practices to minimize secondary poisonings of nontarget species; and

(3) Proper management and placement techniques of baits.
