An inspector may take a sample of bees or material from a hive suspected of containing a regulated pest. Such samples shall be submitted to the state health laboratory or to the secretary to test for the presence of regulated pests. The findings of the state health laboratory or the secretary shall determine whether or not a regulated pest is present.
