Composite milk samples may be tested for pesticides by the secretary at least once a year or at a frequency which the secretary determines to be adequate to protect the consumer. The samples may not exceed established environmental protection agency tolerances in Title 40 C.F.R. Part 180, pages 162 to 291, inclusive (July 1, 1990).
