The secretary shall suspend producers of number four milk from the market immediately for imminent health reasons. The milk buyer shall furnish applicable sediment discs to such producers, and their next milk shipment must test number one or two. The secretary may issue a three-week temporary permit if the producer's milk sediment is a number one or two. Official samples shall be taken and analyzed for sediment at an officially designated laboratory at a rate of at least two per week on separate days for three weeks. Any sample with a milk sediment of number three or four within the three-week permit shall result in an automatic suspension of the producer's permit. The secretary shall reinstate the permit upon compliance with the applicable standard set in chapter 12:17:03.
