Cleaned-in-place cleaning may be used only on equipment and pipeline systems that are designed and engineered for that purpose. Installation and cleaning procedures shall be in accordance with the 3-A Sanitary Standards and Accepted Practices for permanently installed sanitary product pipelines and cleaning systems. An outline of the cleaning procedures to be followed shall be posted near the cleaned in place equipment.
