Conservation grant funding may be combined with other state, local, or federal funding; however, grant funding may not replace funds from other sources. The commission may provide grant funding for the cost of a project or its components based on the current cost/share docket. Matching funds may include funds from public or private sources, including direct contributions and loans. Grants or cost-share from federal or other state agencies do not qualify as local match. In-kind activities or services may qualify as local match.
