Section 61-63.VII.RHA 7.16 - Termination of License

7.16.1 Following any period of institutional control needed to meet the requirements found necessary under 7.10, the licensee may apply for an amendment to terminate the license.
7.16.2 This application will be reviewed in accordance with the provisions of 2.19 of these regulations.
7.16.3 A license shall be terminated only when the Department finds:
7.16.3.1 That the institutional
control requirements found necessary under 7.10.8 have been met;
7.16.3.2 That any additional requirements
resulting from new information developed during the institutional control period
have been met; and
7.16.3.3 That
permanent monuments or markers warning against intrusion have been
installed.
7.16.3.4 That the records
required by RHA 7.32.4 and 7.32.5 have been sent to the party responsible for
institutional control of the disposal site and a copy has been sent to the
Department immediately prior to license termination.
