Section 61-116.900.902 - Grievances and Complaints

A. The facility shall establish a written grievance and complaint procedure and make this procedure available to patients upon request.
B. Upon receipt of a complaint by the Department, the Department shall:
1. Notify
the hospital of the complaint;
2.
Initiate a review of the complaint which may consist of an onsite review by the
Department;
3. Develop a written
report of the review; and
4. Notify
the hospital of the results and provide a copy of the final report.
